The firm was founded in 1997. Both Brian Stutheit and Patrick Gartland had previously been partners in a large Denver law firm which represented insurance companies.
Attorney Brian Stutheit has been practicing for thirty years. He is admitted to practice in all Colorado Courts, the U.S. District Courts for the District of Colorado and the Northern District of Texas, and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Stutheit is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Arapahoe County Bar Association, the Rocky Mountain Property Claims Association, the Faculty of Federal Advocates. and the Elder Law and Construction Law Sections of the Colorado Bar Association. He graduated from Littleton High School and from the University of Texas College of Law.

Of counsel attorney Patricia Watson practices commercial real estate law and business transactional law, banking or lender liability law, and commercial litigation. Ms. Watson is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, and the Order of the Coif. She is a summa cum laude graduate of law school at Florida State University, where she ranked second in her graduating class. She was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1997.
Patrick Gartland’s many years of legal practice have emphasized employment law, construction law and insurance defense. He put his law and engineering degrees to use and ran such a successful telecommunications related manufacturing business that now he consults with the firm in matters where he is expert. He graduated from Regis High School and the University of Denver College of Law.
